Active Warrants
If your agency has an active warrant for someone in the custody of the DeSoto County Adult Detention Facility (ADF) please fax a copy of the warrant and a "detainer" to our Booking Desk at 662-469-8614.
If your agency has an inmate in custody who has an active warrant from the DeSoto County Sheriff's Department, please contact the Fugitive Division at 662-469-8524 Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm to obtain a copy of the warrant. If that inmate has signed a Waiver of Extradition, please fax a copy of the waiver to 662-469-8502 and transportation will be scheduled.
Pre-Signed Waivers
We accept out-of-state Pre-Signed Waivers. We allow outside agencies 10 business days to arrange transportation and to have the inmate picked up once the inmate is finished with any charges in DeSoto County. Exceptions can be made under some circumstances. Contact extradition personnel for assistance, if needed.
